OC Look 2010 at the Jewel of Newport Coast

NEWPORT COAST, CA July 2010 — OC Look 2010…around 400 guests indulged in a lavish evening of fashion, beauty and great food to raise money for the Dream Guild of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Orange County Chapter.

The stage was set for a delightful evening in a 14,000 sq. ft, brand new, seven-bedroom mansion known as the Jewel of Newport Coast (9 Beachcrest, Newport Coast) listed by Lee Ann Canaday with the Canaday Group, RE/MAX Fine Homes currently offered at $17.5 million. Live plants from Instant Jungle International and extravagant floral arrangements by Chris Lindsay Design beautifully decorated the Pelican Crest estate. Tenerelli & Associates donated the gorgeous living room furniture and Audio Video L.A. donated the plasma television. The view of the ocean & coastline was incredible and created the perfect photo op for the well-dressed attendees. Even the highly anticipated $375,000 Lexus LFA made an appearance in the 9 car garage.

All funds received were proudly presented to the Orange County chapter of the Dream Guild of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. "We are incredibly honored, there are so many charities that could be chosen," said Linda Riley, executive director of the diabetes research foundation.

The OC Look Party, held in Newport Coast on Wednesday, celebrated the style of Orange County from those who capture the SoCal surfer look, musicians and artists, as well as high-end designer labels. Sponsored by the well-known Orange Coast Magazine the third annual OC Look recognized 14 individuals and one couple for their fashion senses. All were local residents who develop their own style… a must for the fashionable Orange County community.

"We think they are a wonderful, wonderful charity," Linda Goldstein, publisher of Orange Coast Magazine said. "And the people (who) work there are so passionate and they care so much."

This event was sponsored by RE/MAX Fine Homes & the Canaday Group, Saks Fifth Avenue, Rainbow Sandals, Tiffany & Co., The Sports Club/LA, 24 Carrots, Winston’s Island Jewelers, MAC Make-up, Pure Blu, Mont Blanc, CaPaz Blanco Tequila, Chateau Ste. Michelle and Newport Lexus.
