RE/MAX Leads in Two Elite Reports

By Deborah Ball Kearns, RE/MAX Times Online Editor

Two major industry surveys reaffirm again that RE/MAX, which leads in per-agent productivity in both                                                                              reports, has the most productive sales force in the business.
The results of this year’s REAL Trends 500 and the RISMedia Power Broker Report are telling: RE/MAX                                                                                           averaged over 14 transaction sides per agent in both reports – more than double the competition. In the                                                                                 REAL Trends 500 survey, RE/MAX holds 21 of the 25 spots on the survey's new list of Top 25 brokerages by                                                                        Transaction Sides Per Agent.  What's more, the Power Broker Report shows that RE/MAX agents averaged                                                                          $2.9 million in sales volume – 62 percent more than all other agents in the rankings and 145 percent more sales                                                                   volume than Keller Williams agents.  RE/MAX Affiliates can visit Mainstreet to read a Dave Liniger BlogStreet                                                                     posting about the results.
Major points

Here are other key highlights from the Power Broker Report:

  • RE/MAX agents closed an average of 14.7 transaction sides compared to 6.7 transaction sides for all                                                                         other competitors. In total transaction sides, RE/MAX closed 38 percent more than Keller Williams, which                                                                     had 87 percent more agents.
  • Coldwell Banker agents averaged 56 percent less in sales volume than their RE/MAX colleagues.
  • For every transaction side closed by a Century 21 agent, a RE/MAX agent closed two, on average.
  • RE/MAX placed 390 brokerages in the rankings of the nation's top 1,000 largest real estate firms by                                                                    transaction sides. Only one other company had more than 100.

Nearly a quarter of all brokerages in the REAL Trends 500 survey are RE/MAX: 111 of the Top 500 and 90                                                                             more in the Up-and-Comers category. RE/MAX agents averaged over $3 million in sales volume, or 62 percent                                                                      more than all other competitors.
